Hearts through the Ages

Posted by Olivia Mansveld on

A collection of images spanning from 2011-present, Hearts have been a major concept behind my work in fashion & textiles, illustrating the way that what we wear relates to our physical bodies. Not only are they a way to use up curious scraps too small for garments, they also serve as both a sculptural and creative practice.
Photography credit in this post goes to: Jeremy Addington, Seamus Gallagher, Thomas Nowaczynski, Gabrielle Gallant, and thanks to the V.A.V. Gallery (Montreal QC), Oxygen Art Centre (Nelson BC), and the Anna Leonowes Gallery (Halifax, NS), and to Sarah Graeme and Undine Foulds as hand models.Â
