The Raindrop Dress was designed while I imagined a comfortable, breezy, unrestrictive and light dress that I wished I had during last summer's heatwave. I wanted it to be comfortable enough to wear for gardening, running errands or going out to dinner, but still with some elevated details. It would also be nice to wear overtop of t-shirts or longsleeves for colder days.
The comfortable babydoll A-line shape flows away from the body for warmer days and the dress features bound edges in contrast cotton fabric. The back ties up with a delicate bow adding a cute detail and a bit of adjustable fit, and everything is finished with contrast cream top-stitching.
The Raindrop dress also has useful pockets hidden in the side seams:) A must! lined in contrast fabric for a peek of detail.
The Red Stripes fabric is a reclaimed deadstock cotton blend, sourced locally in Montreal and pre-washed for softness. Due to its reclaimed nature there is a limited amount of this fabric.
